Dr. Eduardo Luna, both a Shaman from the Rainforest of Ecuador and a Ph.D. psychologist, is from the esteemed Luna Family of Shamans.

The Luna Family trace their ancestry back to pre-Incan times. The ancient ceremonies and rituals of the Luna Family are still practiced today, on the sacred Pyramids of Cochasqui, high in the Andean Mountains, as they have been for centuries.

Eduardo's heritage is unique: he and his three shaman brothers are descendants of the ancient Cara People of his mother's lineage. The Cara inhabited Ecuador from 950 AD until 1400 AD, when the Incas arrived. Their father, Luis Alfredo Luna Calderon, is descended from the Luna Family of Shamans of the Puruha People who are of Spanish heritage.

Eduardo's training in the ancient ways of shamanism, coupled with his contemporary academic training as a Psychologist, provide him multiple perspectives and skills that make him uniquely qualified to assist those living in modern environments.

He is able to weave together heartfelt connections between modern and ancient cultures, embracing Christianity, Buddhism, and the Spirit World of Shamanism.

These abilities make him an embodiment of a universal spiritual consciousness that many people of the world today are aspiring to become and evolving towards as members of a global community.
