Shamans from across Ecuador join the Shamans of the Luna family to celebrate sacred ceremony of ancestors and the lineage of the Quitu Cara Tribe on the Equinox.
The Family Luna and Leaders of other tribes of Ecuador conduct the blessings at the beginning of the ceremony.

Shillipanu is the language of the ancestors of the Quitu Cara. The name of the Tribe is representative of both the place they live and the beliefs they live by. Quitu represents the middle of the planet. Qui = middle, tu = earth, and Cara means "man". The translation is then 'wise man living in the middle of the planet.'
All symbols of wisdom, ceremony, dance for mother earth and the universe take place at Mitad del Mundo Pomasqui on the line the defines the center of the earth. |
The 6th DimensionTM was honored to host Ecuadorean Shaman,
Dr. Eduardo Luna, PhD, who presented a talk and provided Shaman healing sessions.
A fantastic weekend was had by all, with twelve people benefiting from healing sessions and a very special evening.
With a PhD in psychology, Dr. Luna is a shaman of the Quitu Cara tribe of pre Inca Ecuador, descended from an ancient line of shamans. He is a designated Ambassador of the Shamans of Ecuador, working in the United States for Lunahausi Inc., a non profit organization for the support of the rain forest jungles of the Ecuadorean Andes and for the program exchange with native American indian Tribes. Dr. Luna has provided shaman healings to individuals and communities in the United States, Japan, Latin America and American Indian communities of North America.

The Shamans of the Family Luna and leaders of the Shamans of the Amazon will gather to pray for healing of our planet and conduct blessings of the four elements. This grand, ancestral ceremony has been vital to shamanic life for centuries and takes on special signifigance for all the world's citizen during these difficult times.
